Terms of use

These terms are between you and FlipSwipe ("we"), and cover your use of the FlipSwipe app. By using FlipSwipe you agree to them. If you downloaded FlipSwipe from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What FlipSwipe is
FlipSwipe shows items for sale near you alongside what similar items have recently sold for, and an estimate of the profit you might make reselling them. It's a tool to help you decide what's worth a closer look.
Estimates, not promises
Every price, fee, postage cost, profit figure, score and earnings illustration in FlipSwipe is an estimate based on public data that can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Listings may already be sold, misdescribed or not what they seem. Always check an item, its condition and its value yourself before you buy. We don't guarantee any profit or income, and you're responsible for your own buying and selling decisions.
Listings and other marketplaces
Listings come from third-party marketplaces. We don't own them, aren't part of any sale, and can't vouch for sellers. Contacting sellers and buying happens on those marketplaces under their own terms. Follow the law and each marketplace's rules when you buy and resell, including any tax you owe on what you earn.
Your account
You need to be 18 or over. Keep your login safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
FlipSwipe+
FlipSwipe+ is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. The price and period are shown before you buy. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store account settings. Payment, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Free unlocks and features available without FlipSwipe+ may change.
Fair use
Don't misuse FlipSwipe: no copying or reselling its data, scraping or overloading the service, reverse engineering it, or using it to break the law or harass anyone.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop parts of FlipSwipe, and update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app. We'll try to keep FlipSwipe running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we're not liable for losses from buying or selling items, from relying on estimates, or for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of the part of the UK where you live can hear disputes.
